Trend Alert: Satin

As spring and summer approaches, lace and crepe dresses become ever more popular and sometimes the satin dress gets forgotten. However, we are here to remind of the beauty of satin wedding dresses and how they are not just for winter weddings anymore. Satin is a pretty heavy fabric, but if you find a simple one with not too much fabric it will be perfect for a warm wedding!

Edith Élan makes some of our favorite satin dresses that are perfect for these occasions. The Pilar gown is a beautiful satin mermaid dress. It is strapless, so the chest and back are exposed making it comfortable for a warmer day. The train is not too long, so you are not dragging a load of fabric behind you. Plus, the waist is accentuated with a beautiful crystal belt that ties everything together. There are floral pattens along the bottom of the skirt that give it some unexpected subtle color.

Similarly, the Natalia gown has a lace corset with a tulle overlay and a gorgeous satin skirt. We absolutely adore the mix of textures in this wedding dress. This would be perfect for a spring wedding, indoor or outdoor, and would look amazing on any body. Edith Élan wedding gowns are amazing because of how unique the styles are and we can promise you that your bridal look would stand out among any other ordinary wedding look.

Satin is such a beautiful fabric with this lovely sheen that is to die for. Why should you just limit to winter weddings?

So where can you find these dresses? Philadelphia Bridal Company is hosting an Edith Élan trunk show from March 17-26. In order to secure your spot, make an appointment asap! Spots are limited, so don't miss out!
